I have been a customer since April of 2016. I have been a member of the K1600 Forum for several years and the folks on that Forum share horror stories about some of the BMW dealerships out there. BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids has always treated me with exemplary service whether I am buying parts or getting my bike serviced. I am a fussy customer that expects superior performance and the staff at BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids always exceeds my expectations! The Parts and Service department has earned my respect and the shop rates 7 stars out of a 5-star format. Thank you for holding yourselves to these high standards.

Once again BMWM of GR Service department was great! Steve and his crew do a great job. They communicate clearly. They are very friendly and sincere. They help us riders to keep our bikes in shape to keep riding. I brought my 2002 1150 GSA in for the 24k maintenance and they found additional concerns, explained the details and fixed them at my request.
It's great to have a shop that I can trust!!Thank you so much, once again!

My husband and I are returning to motorcycling now that he has retired. I am trying to find gear and have had difficulty finding a suitable helmet. Alex Foster helped us when we came in several weeks ago. She was wonderful!! Friendly, knowledgeable, accessible without being pushy. She recommended a helmet that fit well and was comfortable; and we ultimately purchased it. I'd give her 10 stars for her excellent customer service!

Ive been aware of the dealership for years but being 185 miles away, just never had the opportunity to visit. What a pleasant surprise! The shop was larger than expected and well stocked with new inventory, apparel and accessories. I was greeted by Charlie the salesman right away and spent some time going over the latest models with him. Brandon in Parts was very helpful with my accessory purchase, even printing installation instructions before I had a chance to ask. Overall, a great experience! I would highly recommend BMWMCGR.

Great team delivering a wonderful dealer experience. Even as a newbie, I could tell I was dealing with experiences riders and not just sales reps. Overall, they made it clear that my time was valuable, my questions were valid, and did all they could to see me get a solid start on my 2 wheel journey.I first visited to check out a used bike and try on helmets. It was refreshing to have someone shortly ask if I needed help or had questions compared to the other dealers I'd visited. All my questions on helmets were answered and then some, learning all I could want to know about getting that proper helmet fit. They showed me the bike I came to see, and had answers for all my questions about it, all well not trying to upsell me to some fancy new BMW. Who needs that when I can't even grocery shop without people trying to sell me a new TV package.The buying process was smooth and accommodating to my schedule. Made some time to have the bike checked out and test ridden, and closed on the deal with everything I asked clearly explained. They delivered it right to my driveway within a week without a fee, which was greatly appreciated considering I'd only done the parking lot course at that time. The parts crew was every bit as helpful as well. They listened to my priorities and showed me all the options they had, cheap and not so much, and even went after hours to get me set up for safe riding. Sure, I could probably have saved a bit by piecing stuff together off internet sales, but the convenience and quality of in-person service is worth it.Thanks guys

Absolutely epic customer service!!!On Saturday evening, May 22nd, while scouring the internet for a very specific item, I stumbled upon an EBay auction for a "New w/tags, women's Olympia Airglide 5 armored jacket" available with "free shipping"!This is the specific, discontinued, item that I had been searching for....I reached out to the seller, BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids, to see if it would be possible to purchase the jacket, and then have the item shipped 2nd Day Air (at my additional expense) as the Mrs and I have a 2000 mile motorcycle adventure coming up - leaving in 4 days.Brandon got right back to me, and said that they would be happy to accommodate my request - and only at an additional $20 shipping.I just wanted to let everyone know that we received the Olympia Airglide 5 women's XXL jacket today - it's absolutely perfect, fits the Mrs. as though it was tailored for her - and I wanted to post a public THANK YOU!!! to Brandon and the staff at BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids for getting it to us just in time for our road trip tomorrow :)Absolutely phenomenal customer service is harder and harder to find these days....but this is a glowing example. Bought a K1200GT back in 2010. The service has just been outstanding. Always attentive, they listen and then take care of business. I came in on a Saturday once with some pretty bad tires. Thought I'd just leave the bike and pick up the next week. Nope, they had an opening in the schedule and managed to take care of everything that afternoon. I bought the 2018 R1200GS this week and was happy to be a return customer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these folks and this store to friends and family. Great job, Blaine.

After demo riding an R nine T Pure, I fell in love.
Being more sport oriented, I wanted a hands forward bike. Blane showed me the R nine T Racer.
That was the bike for me. I made the purchase and drove down to Grand Rapids to ride my new bike home.
1200 miles now and I still love it!

When something good happens it should be shared. Last week I made an appointment to have the K Bike looked over and have the 12k check done and quoted a price.So, yesterday I was at the dealer and the bike was in the service bay within 15 minutes. I had no problem waiting because there was a very nice couple from Brazil getting an estimate on replacement parts from Nick. It was a long list because they had ridden here from Brazil and have been tooling around the USA for the past 56 days it was fun talking to them about their adventures. They were getting ready to ride back home to Brazil...WOW...that is an Iron-butt ride for sure!!So, when it was my turn we filled out the service estimate and it was on the lift. The job was done on time, for the quoted cost I even changed my mind and had them change the oil and filter that I had bought from them and was going to do myself but ran out of time, so they did it for me.Thanks to Nick for doing what you said you would and to Matt for a great mechanical check-up and feedback and Steve for doing the preliminary stuff while Nick was busy. i would hesitate to recommend you guys and have the next service done in your shop. OH, Andrea even put the Dainish MoToGP race on TV for us to watch. Thankx All. !!!

What a great purchasing experience on my new R1200 GSA and dealing with Andrea in sales . Although they are quite a distance from me , they went the extra mile and I did not even have to leave the house ! The entire deal was handled via emails and Steve delivered the machine today . He gave us a complete and thorough explanation of all the operational features of the bike , completing a seamlessly and satisfying purchase of another BMW motorcycle ...Thanks to all and the bike now has 45 miles on it !

For various reasons I haven't been able to ride much the past two years. When I finally got ready to ride my K1600 GT wasnt running correctly and I knew it was due for service. I contacted Steve and he set up your van to pick up the bike (for a very reasonable price), and diagnosed the problem the next day. The service was performed within one week and the bike runs great. I was kept informed of everything being done to the bike and the associated costs. While not inexpensive, the best seldom is. I want to extend my gratitude to the service department and especially Steve, who is a pleasure to work with. I hope to get enough riding in the remainder of this year that I will need another service.
